Welcome to Appliance Rental Bros, LLC! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our washer and dryer rental services (the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before renting from us.

1. Eligibility & User Requirements
• You must be at least 18 years old to rent our appliances.
• A valid payment method and delivery address are required.
• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date personal information.
2. Rental Agreement & Payment Terms
• Monthly Fee: $60 per month per set of washer and dryer. First month due on the day of delivery.
• One-Time Delivery Fee: $40 per set, charged on the day of delivery.
• Booking Fee: $1, to gather customer data, save info in system, reserve booking date/time and the rental units. Refunded on collecting the first monthly payment.
• Credit Card Processing Fee: $2.50 per swipe, except on the booking fee.
• Billing: Payments are billed automatically on a recurring monthly basis.
• Late Payments: Late or failed payments will result in service suspension after 2 un-communicated instances. Communication is key: if you believe you will be late on a payment, please contact us before your due date. We WILL work with you; we understand that "life happens" sometimes. But if you fail to tell us after 2 instances, we will consider you in arrears and attempt to collect, up to reporting our property stolen with law enforcement and reposession. We do not want a situation to get this far, it's not fun for anyone involved; please communicate with us.
• Subscription Cancellations: Subscriptions may be canceled with at least 7 days' notice before the next billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial months.
• Delivery Cancellations: Deliveries may be cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice before your scheduled delivery time, otherwise a cancellation fee of $100 will be assessed.
• Option to Purchase/Rent-to-Own: Renter may select the option to purchase at any time. Standard rent-to-own term is 36 on-time installments at the normal rental rate. On-time payments made before adding the Option to Purchase will count toward the term. Shorter terms are available at a higher rental rate.
• Early Payoff/Same as Cash: Renter may elect to pay off the Option to Purchase at any time during their rental period by contacting our Billing team. Amount is determined at the time of election as the balance remaining in the term. Early payoff will be invoiced separately from monthly installments.
3. Installation, Maintenance, and Repairs
• We will install and setup the units at the agreed delivery location.
• Customers must ensure proper installation space and provide necessary utility connections.
• Routine maintenance and repairs due to normal wear are covered by us.
• Customers must report any issues promptly. Damage due to misuse may result in repair fees.
4. Equipment Ownership & Usage Rules
• The washer and dryer remain the property of Upstate Appliance Rentals.
• Customers may not sell, sub-lease, or modify the equipment.
• Units must be used for their intended purpose in residential settings only, and only at the address indicated in your Agreement.
5. Liability & Damages
• Customers are responsible for damages resulting from misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.
• Lost or stolen units will incur a replacement fee equal to the market value of the unit.
• Upstate Appliance Rentals is not liable for indirect damages, such as property damage or loss of income, due to equipment failure.
6. Service Modifications & Termination
• We reserve the right to modify pricing or service terms with 30 days' notice.
• We may terminate a rental agreement for non-payment, misuse, or policy violations.
• Upon termination, customers must arrange to return their equipment, in good condition, or be subject to replacement fees.
7. Privacy Policy
• We collect and store customer information to provide our Service.
• Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available here.
8. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
• Any disputes must first be addressed through direct negotiation.
• If unresolved, disputes will be settled through arbitration in South Carolina, USA.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, USA.
